Partners on common Erasmus+ project from Iceland (Katla Geopark), Portugal (Arouca Geopark) and Poland visited Papuk Geopark. During the visit the group of experts experienced not only wealth of Papuk geological heritage but richness of biodiversity and cultural heritage.
Goal of this project is establishing educational material for field-trip geo-education and make it accessible for project's interest groups by translating it into local languages. Developing geo-educational programs for adults will increase the knowledge and awareness of inhabitants and help them recognize other, than economic, values of their region - promote the natural heritage (geology).
This was the last meeting of experts group and results will be presented during closing conference in Poland.
